Sylvain said I needed to record something to tell you to leave a message, even though if you're bothering to message me in the first place you already know what you're supposed to do, so this is pointless. So...leave a message, I guess. Maybe I'll get back to you. Maybe I won't.

We'll watch next week, then--probably Wednesday? I'll order us all some katsudon to go with the show--trust me, by the end of it you *will* want katsudon, no matter if you've had it before or not.

But yes, she went off with her friend Akane and Akane's friend Cassandra. (Scorpia's best friend, Catra, disappeared the weekend of the cow race and she was very sad, so the Victory Roadtrip is meant to be a distraction.) Since Scorpia's gone for three weeks, it's better that I don't take a night off until she's back. But I think she'll do well too!

I don't know what your boyfriends' tastes are, but it's a very engaging anime focused on the sport and the competition, with a very sweet romance between two men as the secondary plot.

As in she went home, yeah. And I liked her too. It makes me feel a little bad I've been monopolizing Thace's time since we got together—they used to travel together his first few months here.

You can bring them all if you want, just warn us if you do so we can get some beanbags in so everyone will have something to sit on.

Oh, right, the wedding. Yeah, Sylvain might want a honeymoon. Well, we'll figure out when is good. I suspect prom is going to be the weekend after next, but maybe the Tuesday after that could work. Although Thace and I will be setting out down Victory Road ourselves not long after prom. We can still wait until after our anime night.

Prom is a formal dance they have for us people from other worlds. They do one every year, but the venue and organizers change, because every year there's some minor disaster or fight or something. Last year these idiots from Galar had it at a haunted castle and they brought artifacts that made Pokémon grow incredibly huge—but then they *lost* them and the Pokémon got huge on their own at the worst moment. Aside from that, though, it was fun.

Basically, prom is an excuse to dress up in fancy clothes, eat fancy food, and take a four-day weekend on the Indigo League's dime. They cover our travel fees and everything. It usually happens the second or third weekend in April—they'll send us the invitations a week before. So honestly you and Sylvain can segue from your honeymoon right into prom.

(Speaking of which, the Cerulean Cape is very romantic, but Resort Gorgeous is pretty amazing if you can afford it. I don't know if you and Sylvain are looking for suggestions, but those are places I've been with one boyfriend or another and enjoyed them both. Blackthorn is also lovely if you like the mountains.)

They do actually broadcast the Elite Four matches on television, just like any other gym match! And they also upload them on their Staryutube channel, just in case you miss the broadcast.

(And thank you. They've been defeated for a while, but we were waiting for the weather to be warmer, so we can play a rather ridiculous game on our way up Victory Road, which we plan to do shirtless. We both miss being able to hunt, so we're going to track each other instead. Pouncing definitely allowed.)

They're all good places for romantic getaways. There's also a bed and breakfast on top of Mount Moon, but I haven't been there yet. Thace and I have plans to go there this summer, though. Another thing you could do eventually--though not in time for the honeymoon--is after you beat all the Johto gyms, you can challenge Blue's Elite team in Viridian and win a free three-week cruise on the S.S. Anne.

The dancing's not so stiff and boring, usually. It's more modern sorts of ballroom dancing, if it's anything formal. Partner dances, not formal figures. And yeah, from what I know of Sylvain, it does seem like something he'd like.

(He and I are getting along better now that he's stopped being so obnoxious to people I care about. That said, I still don't regret letting Thace tease him a little after I knew I wanted to turn him down. It was *very* funny to watch him realize how much he didn't know, despite his whole Lothario act. I'm sorry, I know he's your fiance, but it *was*. Plus Thace's impression of his old teacher was pretty funny too.)

I hope you enjoy watching my matches. I managed to catch your last two while they were airing--you did very well, I thought. Once you get all of Johto's, they'll let you have a megastone--have you any thoughts for which one you'll get? If nothing else, you've got a Lucario and that's one of the ones that can mega.

But yes. Our planned little game is very ridiculous, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm not sure if I'd rather catch him or be caught, to be honest.

That sounds like something Thace would go for. He's ridiculously into camping. (I mean, I do get it when I think about it, considering how spaceships are sealed environments and he's spent most of his adult life without much chance to get fresh air.)

A cruise is a prolonged ride on a luxury boat where it takes you to various ports for day trips. They feed you and there's lots of different activities for people to do when they're floating.

Turning him down was definitely the right call. When Thace and I got together he said that he'd be fine with me having sex with other people as long as he was there to watch (and possibly participate depending on who), but Sylvain propositioned me fairly soon after we *did* get together. Much too soon to have a third for the night.

Some pokemon have special temporary forms which can be triggered by artifacts called 'megastones.' When you get all the badges in a region they'll give you one. You can choose which one you get and trade it for another kid every three or four months or so, I think. When you trigger the megastone in battle, the pokemon will temporarily 'megaevolve' into something stronger--but it only lasts as long as the fight (I think) and then they revert back to normal.

Also, I *like* the way you think regarding our hunting game. That is definitely what we'll do. We've got three weeks of travel, after all, so that's one hunt per week.
